PHTLS Full-Body Trainer

Instructors for the Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) focus on four main skill sets, as defined by the PHTLS course offered by the National Registry for Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT):

  1. Airway maintenance with basic and advanced adjuncts
  2. IV therapy
  3. IO therapy
  4. Chest trauma treatment

The PHTLS Trainer will supply these needed focus points. Many countries around the world are initiating PHTLS training based upon the NREMT regimen.

The PHTLS full-body manikin contains all of the necessary features for teaching the curriculum in this specialised field:

  • Pneumothorax reduction
  • Intubation head with tongue oedema and laryngospasm options
  • Manubrium IO insertion
  • IV arm.

Manikin weighs 64kg (140 lbs).
