Multiple abscesses are present, especially in the basal and central parts of the lower lobe. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe base of the lower lobe is severely affected with fibrosis and consolidation being evident.
