The accessory replacement module is excellent in its realism, quality and durability offering users the ability to utilise ultrasound or blind insertion techniques while performing lumbar puncture or lumbar epidural procedures to access the epidural or subarachnoid space.
The accessory spinal insert provides more adipose tissue disallowing the palpation of the spinal processes. This module is superb for needle access as well as the placement of catheters.

The lumbar epidural and lumbar puncture replacement tissue module is superb in its realism and contains the entire lumbar spine, skin tissue, ligamentum flavum, epidural space, dura, subarachnoid membrane, and subarachnoid cistern containing cerebral spinal fluid (CSF).
Users can inject local anaesthetics, introduce the needle to the epidural space and/or subarachnoid space (performs “spinal taps”), thread catheters, infuse simulated anaesthetics, and obtain manometer measurements – all while experiencing a realistic tissue response including the pop encountered when traversing the ligamentum flavum, loss of resistance when entering the epidural space, and cerebral spinal fluid flow when the spinal cistern is accurately accessed.
The cerebral spinal fluid pressures can be easily increased in order to simulate pathological scenarios.
