The manikin and AED combination allows the instructor to demonstrate the BLS defibrillate skill that’s easily reproduced by the learner. The way the Brayden lights up gives learners immediate feedback (which they love!) on the quality of their CPR, enabling self directed improvement. Combining that with the high fidelity training AED, helps give the learner the confidence to ‘act’ should they be faced with a person in cardiac arrest.
Thank you for the great review Louise! We hope the Brayden and AED gives your learners more confidence in their skills going forward :)
This award-winning Brayden CPR training manikin is an innovative and effective way to teach CPR. Brayden enables students to learn the ‘how and why’ CPR is needed in an intuitive and easy-to-understand manner.
It's the first cost-effective manikin to provide real-time feedback on CPR performance. Users are able to visualise how CPR affects coronary and cerebral blood flows and see the effects of their good CPR performance.
This novel and innovative feature distinguishes the Brayden manikin from other CPR manikins currently available and has been developed with advice from leading clinicians and professionals.
These illuminate to represent the volume of blood being circulated by the chest compressions. This volume depends on the depth of compressions. These will only fully light when the depth of compressions is over 5cm.
These illuminate to represent the floor of blood from the heart to the brain. The speed of the blood flow shown varies according to the depth and speed of the compressions. These will only fully light once the rate of compressions is over 100 per minute.
This illuminates to represent that blood is reaching the brain. This will only fully light when the depth and speed of the compressions are correct.
Realistic head tilt and chin lift for opening the airway
Highly realistic chest rise with correct ventilations
Oral and nasal passages allow realistic nose pinch
Anatomical landmarks including sternum, ribcage, sternal notch and xiphisternum
Quick and easy to clean
Audible feedback reinforces correct compression depth (Clicker ON/OFF)
The iPAD Saver training device demonstrates to the user how an ‘active’ unit will work in an emergency situation.
The user will hear voice prompts advising each stage of the defibrillation procedure.
The iPAD SP1 Trainer has 8 pre-programmed scenarios or the User can be guided using the remote control.
