Individuals can experience six different types of visual distortions commonly occurring among elderly patients.

The simulator promotes learning the importance of eye care and empathising with people who suffer from eye disorders.

Six pairs of specially-designed glasses represent the following eye conditions:

Retinitis Pigmentosa
Cataract
Glaucoma
Macular Degeneration
Diabetic retinopathy
Hemianopsia

The simulator glasses can be worn over conventional glasses.

Useful piece of equipment

This item is very useful for NG insertion training, it can be used in a horizontal position and the fluid bag does not leak out. The bag and tubing can all be stored within the head making storage of the item easy. It is very simple to use and the head is strong and durable
