How much does delivery cost?
Tracked Delivery on website orders to a single Mainland Great Britain address is charged at £7.50 + VAT.
Tracked Delivery on purchase orders to a single Mainland Great Britain address is charged at £15.00 + VAT.
Shipping to Northern Ireland and British Forces is charged at £25.00 + VAT.
Palletised deliveries are charged at £85.00 + VAT per pallet.
Deliveries will be made to a Goods In area not a specific room/department.
International shipping is provided on a case-by-case basis, please contact us for a quote.

What is the returns policy?
Returns are acceptable within 28 days of delivery (by law you have 14 days to notify us and a further 14 days to complete the return), providing the item is in a resalable condition and in its undamaged original packaging.
Cancellations and Returns are free of charge for items up to 20 kg. Collection for items over 20 kg will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.
All returns must be pre-authorised prior to shipping. Unauthorised returns may be refused and additional carriage costs may be incurred.
Failure to return goods in a resalable condition may result in a restocking fee of £25.00 + VAT or 20% of the invoice value, whichever is greater.
Any goods returned for product defect or warranty issues will not incur a restocking fee, but must still have appropriate authorisation.

Postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) is an obstetric emergency where heavy bleeding occurs after delivery. According to the WHO, PPH is one of the leading causes of maternal mortality.
Each year about 14 million women worldwide suffer from PPH. Severe bleeding after birth can be fatal for the new mother within hours if she is not diagnosed and treated.
To improve PPH outcomes, it is vital that obstetric and healthcare professional teams train the timely management and care of postpartum bleeding.
If you are looking for a PPH trainer that is compact, easy-to-use and durable, the PPH simulator P97 PRO from 3B Scientific is the ideal solution to provide hands-on and realistic training sessions for early recognition, systematic evaluation and treatment of postpartum haemorrhage.
The PPH simulator focuses on the following three postpartum bleeding causes:
- Uterine atony (Tonus)
- Laceration and rupture (Trauma)
- Retained tissue from the placenta (Tissue)
The P97 Pro PPH Simulator is developed in collaboration with Dr. Martin Neuß, M.D., from Bethesda hospital in Hamburg to train the following skills, both individually and as a team:
- Diagnosis of uterine atony by abdominal examination. Accommodating your scenario settings, P97 PRO can simulate different levels of the uterine tone. Both an atonic uterus and a contracted uterus can be simulated and adjusted using a deflation bulb. An atonic uterus on P97 PRO feels soft, boggy and enlarged while a contracted uterus feels harder and can tighten to a realistic smaller size.
- Practise of both fundal massage and bimanual compression
- Suturing of vaginal tears. The rupture inserts are replaceable
- 360-degree cervical visual inspection. The cervix has a realistic after-childbirth size and softness
- Manual removal of a retained placenta. Three residual pieces can be placed in the uterus to train the required medical interventions like uterine curettage
- Intrauterine balloon tamponade. The size of the uterus cavity can accommodate the placement of a Bakri Balloon
- Uterine packing with gauze
- Presentation of severe obstetric haemorrhage cases. The volume of the blood reservoir is up to 3L. The flow speed is adjustable and up to 400 ml/min
- Blood loss estimation. The volume scale on the blood reservoir can help trainees gain competence in estimating blood loss
- Bladder catheterization. The insertion of a urinary catheter is possible. No fluid drainage is required
- The demonstration of uterine compression suture techniques e.g. B-Lynch, Haymann, Pereira, Cho and Ouabha is possible on the separated foam uteri

- Major severe PPH scenarios can be simulated: blood loss up to 3000 ml and/or speed of blood flow up to 400 ml/min
- Delivery of a retained placenta. The placenta is made of silicone for a realistic feel and softness
- The trainer offers accurate anatomy, including ischial spines, pubic bones and sacrum
- The simulator is completely independent of electricity, extremely durable and easy to set up

If i could give it 4.5 I would but I'm much more inclined to say I'm happy with this product. Really good quality, excellent resource for my vet suturing practice. I have a mild complaint about the silk sutures, they rip/ fray more easily than I hoped, but easily rectified by buying new ones (which are cheap) and also encourages me to be more gentle with my knots. I'm so happy with it and it's a perfect still revising break from studying. Thank you Sim and Skills!!!

Lecturer Feedback: Feedback was collected from 7 lecturers. Most of them found the trainer to be authentic and effective in simulating the challenges of blood sugar testing. They appreciated that it encouraged patient communication, which is a great plus. The product was of good quality and reliable for teaching purposes. However, there was a minor issue with the finger becoming leaky after multiple uses. Despite this, the lecturers agreed that the trainer prepares students well for real-world blood glucose testing.
