Full-Body ALS Trainer without electronics

This 165 cm (5 ft. 5 in.), 25 kg, full-body ALS trainer combines the standard intubation head and IV arm with a non-electronic body.

The advanced airway and IV capability combined with unbeatable robustness gives you the perfect ALS manikin for austere environments.

A best-seller among Advanced, Immediate, and Basic Life Support instructors utilising advanced skills, such as airway management and IV administration, will appreciate this training manikin.

It is particularly popular with Ambulance, Fire and Police Services, HEMS Air Ambulance Services and Trauma Rescue Organisations and is one of our most popular ALS manikins.

This robust ALS Trainer has an identical specification to the Laerdal Crash Kelly but is better value and includes a 3-year warranty.

Combine with either a WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) or CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, Explosive) scenario to facilitate the practice of DECON (decontamination) processes. This creates the perfect setup for use while processing through decontamination stations.

Water won't harm this trainer, and you can initialise advanced life support (ALS) treatment as you are flushing contaminants.

Please note: this manikin does not have ECG features.

Student Feedback: Feedback was gathered from 13 students. Overall, they liked the trainer and would recommend it to their peers for learning blood glucose testing. They found the trainer easy to use and helpful in demonstrating the procedure. The students felt that the trainer added significant value to their training, with the main benefit being an increased competency in blood glucose testing.

Lecturer Feedback: Feedback was collected from 7 lecturers. Most of them found the trainer to be authentic and effective in simulating the challenges of blood sugar testing. They appreciated that it encouraged patient communication, which is a great plus. The product was of good quality and reliable for teaching purposes. However, there was a minor issue with the finger becoming leaky after multiple uses. Despite this, the lecturers agreed that the trainer prepares students well for real-world blood glucose testing.

Useful piece of equipment

This item is very useful for NG insertion training, it can be used in a horizontal position and the fluid bag does not leak out. The bag and tubing can all be stored within the head making storage of the item easy. It is very simple to use and the head is strong and durable
