We are delighted to announce that the venue for Sim Tech Live will be Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s new airbase and charity headquarters.
Sim Tech Live takes place on 15th and 16th August and is the first two-day event for simulation technicians.
It will take place at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity’s airbase and headquarters facility on the Shropshire/ Staffordshire border, making it the perfect location for this national event. Its state-of-the-art clinical training facilities and meeting spaces make it the ideal venue for hosting practical workshops and demonstrations for technicians.
More than 70 university-based simulation technicians from across the country will take part in two days of hands-on workshops, interactive product demonstrations and networking opportunities.
Attendees will have the opportunity to see the latest technological innovations in healthcare simulation, explore immersive, interactive rooms and receive career development support.
Nicola Cook, director of communications at Sim & Skills said: ‘’This is our first Sim Tech Live, so we need a venue with the space and facilities to put on an industry-leading, memorable event.
“This event is the start of an exciting new corporate partnership between Sim & Skills and Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, which will see future collaborations to support the healthcare simulation community and raise vital funds for the charity.
‘’We are very proud to become a corporate partner for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and feel privileged to be able to offer our support to the crews who are saving lives every day.’’
Pam Hodgetts, corporate partnerships manager for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity added: “Our new airbase and charity headquarters is an impressive venue which more than meets the needs for the Sim Tech Live event and we hope it will leave a lasting impression on our attendees.
“Corporate partnerships with firms like Sim & Skills provide mutual benefits as the relationship ultimately helps make lifesaving missions possible for our pre-hospital emergency service. We are grateful to Sim & Skills for its support and look forward to working closely with the team on its Sim Tech Live event.”
