Ecchymosis Sticky Wounds
CAE Medicor sticky wounds are made entirely of MedicGel for a lifelike appearance.
Able to stick to any surface without adhesive, these wounds can be applied to any manikin or standardised patient.
Ecchymosis is a type of bruise caused by leaking blood vessels near the surface of the skin, it is typically larger than 1 cm in size and is usually the result of blunt force to the affected area. These sticky wounds add realism to your simulation training.
All sticky wounds are stain-resistant and hypoallergenic.

TIP: If the product is not sticking well due to dust or other contaminants, rinse it with tap water to reactivate the material.

MedicSkin® products are injectable, meaning the user can inject air into them. If specified, you can inject liquid into task trainers, a special sponge inside the product absorbs the liquid until saturation, easily drain it and rinse with distilled water to avoid mould growth.
